Foundation

The Rolling Hills Consolidated Library system was established in 1961 and for more than 40 years didn't have a method for drawing major gifts from the public. In 2004, the Rolling Hills Consolidated Library Foundation was established to work toward that goal. By building a financial base separate from tax funds, the Foundation can provide support for large projects and ongoing services, especially during times of tax shortage.

As a non-profit organization, the Foundation receives and manages gifts to Rolling Hills Consolidated Library. The Foundation is an independent entity and reviews and evaluates the library's requests for funds to support special programs and major projects.

The Foundation's growth and strength depends on the generosity of donors and the stable leadership provided by the volunteer Foundation board of directors. Private support, traditionally and historically, has had a positive effect on our communities. Your gift will provide patrons an opportunity for continued individual growth and access to state-of-the-art libraries. The Foundation will help meet these future challenges by seeking private donations to support special programs and major projects.

Donors who contribute the following amounts will be recognized under the following categories:

  • Patron: $50 to $500
  • Browser: $501 to $1,000
  • Bibliophile: $1,001 to $5,000
  • Conservator: $5,001 to $10,000
  • Literary Lion: Above $10,000
